Playing Catch-up

Soo I created my blog profile a few months back. At the time I was pregnant with our now 3 1/2-month old baby girl, Kynlee Abrianna, and still under the cute naive assumption that sleep and free time was a God given right. Of course I knew things would change with a newborn but the magnitude of how much they would change was lost on my pre-baby self. I had all the good intentions. I bought scrap-book stuff, planning to document her young life with the cutest stickers and craft paper available (and the first two pages I actually had time to do before she got here turned out quite snazzy if I do say so myself). I started a cross-stitch for her (corner of the) room lol. And I registered for this blog. Well the scrapbook stuff is sitting in a plastic bag in my closet, the cross-stitch is half done on my dresser, and....well you can see how the blogging went. My life became a whirl-wind of days and nights (without much distinction between the two at times), countless diapers, breast-feeding complications and finally success (yay!), and trying to learn the foreign language of baby screams at a record pace. It was challenging, scary, and so very very rewarding. I love love love being a mama and as all moms will tell you...I have THE cutest baby in the world :)


But now that world's cutest baby is rapidly approaching 4 months (and by the way, if you didn't believe the millions of people who have already told you it goes by way too fast.....it goes by WAY TOO FAST). But anyways, she now has decided to be sweet enough to give me some, albeit still very limited, free time. I am very worried that some day I'll look back and forget all the special little details that are happening at this time and I don't want that to happen. So once again I am going to attempt at keeping a written record of our life as we go. Not sure yet if I'll even tell people I'm doing this (or you may see it blowing up your facebook timeline tonight lol). Mostly I just want a forum to write down my thoughts and experiences for future enjoyment and reminiscing! 

The plan is to do a little catching up about Kynlee and then go from there. I may only write about her or I may blog about any random little issue that is occupying my mind, haven't decided as of yet. I have no clue how to make it all pretty but I'll work on that too. Who knows if I'll keep it up or not (after all I'm not sure typing on a computer falls under Kynlee's list of me giving her my undivided attention lol).....but here's to trying! :)
